How to make your children more intelligent: 10 steps backed by evidence

img-2

make your children more intelligent : I have been studying the psychology behind the things that make children happy, parents perform best, and communities happier.

So what makes kids – from infants to teenagers – cleverer?

1) Lessons in Music

img-3

Clear and straightforward: music lessons in study render kids smarter:

In the music categories, children reported larger improvements in full-scale IQ relative to children in control groups… The impact was relatively limited, but it produced a structured degree of academic achievement by IQ subtesting, index scoring.

Currently, music therapy benefits everyone, old and young:

An increasing study community identifies musical education that provides students the ability to learn at class. Now a report from Northwestern University found that musical preparation will also help Grandma by compensating for some of the negative effects of ageing.

2) Regular Exercise

Stupid jocks are stupid, and more time is spent in the field than in the library. But what if your child spends time on all of them?

Healthy form improves your learning abilities. People take new terms 20 percent quicker during exercise. after exercise

A 3 month preparation scheme improved memory and learning blood supply to the brain by 30 percent.

Through Spark: Modern innovative practise and cognitive science:

Tiny placed a three-month workout routine on a group of volunteers and then captured photographs of their brains… What he found was that capillaries were up by 30% in the memory region of the hippocampus, an amazing shift of direction.

3) Reading

img-5

Did you have a little person that learns to read? Don’t make them peek at the book frames, when you read them all.

Ear the terms attentively. Not to them, read for them. Study has shown that its literacy capabilities are improved:

…where collaborative book reading is enriched with specific commitment to improving children’s reading abilities and techniques, joint book reading is an important way also for poor children to promote their early literacy skills…

4) Lack of sleep adversely affect children

img-6

A sixth grade brain transforms into that of a fourth grader when you lose an hour of sleep.

Young people who got A slept almost fifteen minutes on average over students in B, fifteen more minutes on average, etc. The findings of an earlier survey by Brower’s Carskadon from over 3,000 Rhode Island secondary schoolchildren were nearly perfectly recorded by Wahlstrom’s numbers. Both are definitely averages, but the two findings are consistent. It counts every 15 minutes.

5) Discipline

img-7

Self-discipline overcomes IQ’s conception of who can excel in adulthood.

The Force of Habit: Why Do We Do What We Do in Company and Life by Charles Duhigg:

Tens of research have found that willpower is the biggest habit of achievement… Students who exercise strong willpower are more inclined to achieve better marks in their classrooms and to become more selective… Then, they had less absence and spent less time viewing TV and more time at home.

Grades have more to do with knowledge than raw intelligentsia.

Through the performance of children: grit, curiosity and the strength of the secret character:

Then, Sight was the most possible characteristic for performance in the workplace. Roberts’s intrigue with knowledge is that it forecasts too many effects well beyond the office. People with a high degree of awareness at school and college earn higher qualifications; less crime is perpetrated and more married… They live longer – not just for smoking and drinking less. You have less strokes, reduced blood pressure and less Alzheimer’s disease. You get less blood pressure.

Who’s done the best? Children with grit. Kids with grit.

Through Drive: The Awesome Reality What Motivates Us.

Then, researchers showed that the greatest measure of performance was the prospective cadet’s assessments of a non-cognitive and nonphysical characteristic known as “grit.”..

6) Studying is an endeavour

img-8

Baby Einstein and sports do not work for brain conditioning.

Then, there are actually reasons to think that children are stupid.

Baby’s brain rules: how to grow an educated and content kid from zero to five:

Then, goods were absolutely not operating. The language of the target demographic, children 17-24 months has no positive impact. Some have done serious harm. Per day, children spend six to eight terms averaging less than children who didn’t watch them viewing any baby DVDs and images…

True schooling is not inactive, it is dynamic.

What is Dan Coyle recommending, editor of The Talent Code? Only avoid reading and testing yourself:

Our minds have developed, not from hearing around to learn things. For a great deal of ability, this is one explanation why it is much easier to invest nearly two thirds of the time testing instead of absorbing it… Two thirds is a norm. If you choose, say, to memorise a passage, you ought to spend 30% of your time reading it and 70% of your time checking yourself on it.

Then, there was a mistake (More on how to teach your child to be a hard worker in school here.)

7) Eating well

img-9

It would be safer, ultimately, if the children were all safe to feed. Research indicates that feeding affects the classes of children:

Everyone understands that on the major test day you have to have breakfast. Researcher shows that high-carbon, high-fiber, sluggish foods, such as avengers, are best. But it’s also relevant what you consume a week in advance.

Exceptions still occur. No child always eats well. The tragedy, though, is that children sometimes receive “bad food” at the wrong moment.

Investigations suggest that caffeine and sugar can improve the brain:

Glucose may have a beneficial impact on cognitive function.

Then, they are very strong children and enjoy prizes.

So if children often consume sweets and soda, it may be easier to offer it to them when they research than relax.

8) Good children = Happy children

img-10

Happier children are more likely to become independent, successful people.

Through Raising Happiness: 10 simple steps toward more happier children and satisfied parents:

In a world which highlights success, happiness is a tremendous advantage. The positive people on average excel at jobs and enjoy more than the sad. They get positive outcomes, better employment and higher incomes.

And what is the first step towards making more happy children? Be a happy mom. Be satisfied.

9) Matters of the peer community

img-11

Your partner’s biology and genetics have an immense influence on your offspring. However, how do you raise your children?

Not almost like that.

The tip point: How small stuff can make a big difference through Malcolm Gladwell’s

Tipping point:

Biological infants are generally close to their parents in things such as intellectual skill tests and some facets of personality… However the findings are very strange for the adoptive children.

And when makes your child’s actions have an immense impact? Your party of colleagues.

We just speak about peer pressure when it’s a harmful one, but it’s more frequently than not a good one.

Living in a safe community and heading to strong schools will make a significant impact to guarantee that your children hang out with healthy children…
